Butter Cookies!
They’re tasty, sweet, AND soft. Crisp on the outside and soft on the inside, these butter cookies are very suitable for the holidays, or just a regular treat.
Prep Time: 15 minutes Cook Time: 12-15 minutes Yields: 2 trays
Ingredients

1 cup of unsalted butter (softened)

¾ cups of granulated sugar

1 egg
-
2 tsp of vanilla extract

2 and ¼ cups of all-purpose flour

½ tsp salt

1.5 tbsp of milk
Directions

Combine the sugar and butter together, and mix until smooth.

Then, add in the vanilla extract and egg and beat until combined.

Add flour and salt, and beat until fully combined.

Then slowly add in the milk.

Put a piece of parchment paper on a baking sheet/tray.

Once well mixed, transfer the mixture into a piping bag with a star attachment at the tip.

Squeeze small portions of the batter on the parchment paper. Allow a few centimetres of space in between the small portions (If you don't have a piping bag, roll into cookies approximately 2 inches in diameter)

Preheat the oven to 350F.

Bake the cookies for around 12-15 minutes until they are slightly golden-brown
